Best Breakfast and Brunch Restaurants in Fremantle
Local Recommendations from our My Guide Perth team
WA is filled with lots of places that offer tasty value-for-money breakfast and brunch (a meal that's usually eaten between 10am and noon). Most eateries open from 8am (some even earlier) and close by at about 4 or 5pm.
Typical breakfast offerings include eggs prepared all sorts of ways (our favourite is Eggs Benedict) accompanied by a variety of items such as gourmet sausages, smoked salmon, ham, bacon, hash browns, grilled mushrooms and tomatoes. Other items often found on the menu are sandwiches, wraps, burgers, cereal, toast and baked beans. Some places cater for more adventurous tastebuds and may have dishes from other cuisines such as French, North African and Meditteranean. For instance, you might enjoy a Shakshuka (a flavoursome North African dish that consists of poached eggs resting in a thick tomato based sauce laced with spices) or a Kotopita (a Greek chicken pie). The variety is mindboggling - only limited by each chef's imagination.LOCAL TIP: Some of these places offer an All Day Breakfast menu but do go early as popular dishes have been known to run out by lunch time. Most of these Breakfast and Brunch places get amazingly crowded during the weekends, so do book ahead and don't be late.
