Begin your day boarding the ferry from Perth for a scenic cruise along the Swan River accompanied by expert captain commentary. Upon arrival, collect your bike from the ferry crew; bike hire includes a helmet and lock.
Rottnest Island is a Class A Reserve known for its conservation and community values, featuring over 63 beaches and 20 bays to explore by bicycle.
Bicycles must be collected by an adult aged 18 or over. Hirers under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at bike collection. Bikes must be returned to the ferry crew on the return journey. Cycling is the primary transportation mode as the island prohibits private vehicles. A full circuit of the island covers 22 km and takes approximately 3-5 hours, with shorter routes also available.
