Description
Enjoy a day getaway to Western Australia’s natural wonders away from city life. Begin with a visit to either Yanchep Lavender Farm or Yanchep Chocolate Drops Tearoom, where you can sample regional treats such as lavender ice cream, freshly baked scones, or a variety of chocolates. Morning tea is included.
Lunch is served at the Lobster Shack in Cervantes, known for its Western Australian seafood. This meal is optional and at your own expense. After lunch, take a walk along the Lake Thetis boardwalk to view stromatolites, some of the world’s oldest living fossils, surrounded by seasonal wildflowers including banksias, bottlebrush, heath, grass trees, and kangaroo paws.
Travel to Nambung National Park to explore the Pinnacles Desert, where thousands of ancient limestone pillars rise from the desert floor. The tour includes a visit to the Tourist Information Discovery Centre before a guided walk among the formations. Return to Perth by approximately 7:00pm.
