Housed within Wanneroo’s new Library and cultural centre, Café Elixir offers a relaxing and modern eating environment. The building’s glass front not only gives the café a real contemporary feel inside, but also provides a magnificent look out area over Wanneroo – which is especially good around sunset.
Breakfast begins at 7am during the week, where you can choose from an extensive menu of morning favourites such as berry pancakes, pizza scrambled eggs or the Elixir big fried breakfast. The lunch menu changes seasonally, but offers a range of pastas, salads as well as more hearty options such as burgers and mixed grill – which are also available on the dinner menu. Please note that the café also offers a gluten free menu. With all meals available for takeaway, Café Elixir would particularly suit office workers in need of a quick lunch stop.
The venue is also renowned for its tea parties, offering diners the traditional high tea experience with decorative chinaware, flowers, handmade tea cosies and perfectly pressed tablecloths. Tea parties cost 28 dollars per head and are available every day after 2:30pm.
