Description
Approximately three hours before sunrise, you will be collected by mini bus from the Crown Casino Complex car park in Burswood. The pick-up point is the bus bay on Glenn Place beside the Burswood Park Board. The journey to Northam in the Avon Valley takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
On arrival, meet the pilot and crew at the Dome Cafe inside Farmers Home Hotel. After a briefing, you will be driven to the launch site chosen based on weather conditions. Balloon inflation and preparation take around 30 minutes.
The flight lasts approximately one hour, drifting with the wind to provide views of the awakening countryside as the sun rises above the horizon. After landing, you can help pack up the balloon if you wish. Return to Northam for a buffet breakfast at the Dome Cafe to conclude the experience.
Meeting times vary seasonally and will be confirmed by SMS the evening before your flight, ranging from 02:00 am to 03:55 am. Ensure your contact details are up to date to receive this information.
