After two weeks on the road my partner and I sat down for an excellent steak dinner here for an evening of luxury before heading back home to France. Our servers Julie and Tilly were wonderful, very welcoming and kind. They told us they were also french and made us feel right at home ! We enjoyed the burrata and octopus entrées, which were both delicious, the different sauces and purées with the octopus were particularly good ! We then had the tomahawk with zucchini side dish, the meat was tender and tasty, béarnaise sauce very good, and we specifically loved the feta cream served with the zucchini. The meat was served with different aromatic salts which added to the experience. The wine suggestion was also very good. All in all we had a wonderful evening, thank you again to Julie and Tilly who both made us smile the whole time, we won't hesitate to come back if we are ever in Perth again. à bientôt !
We came to Ascua for a friend’s birthday dinner, and the entire experience was phenomenal. Our host, Julie, absolutely looked after us, providing stellar wine and food recommendations that made the night. The food was flawless from start to finish. The scallops were incredible for the starter. We had the Wagyu and Pork Belly for mains and We finished things up with the Sticky Date and Chocolate Marquis, which were pure heaven. Everything was amazing. Huge thanks to Julie and the team for making it a memorable birthday celebration!
We went for an amazing dinner for my partners birthday meal, the food was excellent and so was the service. Julie served us and she was just fabulous - she gave us recommendations and was incredibly friendly throughout! We had the octopus to start, and the pork and salmon for mains. I would recommend all of the above! Thank you for a wonderful meal. :)
Our first time dining here tonight, the restaurant was just gorgeous, cosy intimate and clean. The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The food was amazing - loved everything. The only downside was 1 of the staff members walking around looking at her mobile phone - not a good look for the restaurant. That's why I gave a 4 instead of 5 stars 🌟 I do highly recommend this restaurant as my husband and I look forward to coming back.
Amazing! Absolute gem, we booked the chefs table and thus has a front row view of the kitchen and woodfire grill. We had the kingfish crudo, octopus, and 1kg tomahawk. All so delicious. Best octopus we have ever had. Service is impeccable, wonderful servers we attentive and explained the menu well. We will be back!
