What a beautiful location, great views. Fabulous food and service. Sadly we were here on a rainy day, I’d love to return when the sun is shining and the weather warm. Despite our misfortune with the weather we really enjoyed The Shorehouse. The staff are lovely. The food was fresh and delicious.
Celebrated a 50th cocktail party at The Shorehouse and it was absolutely brilliant. The venue is stunning with amazing ocean views, creating the perfect backdrop for a special event. The food offered a great variety and didn’t disappoint, and the overall atmosphere was spot on. Highly recommend for any celebration!
One of my favorite beachfront restaurants, this spot perfectly combines great food with an incredible setting. The terrace offers stunning ocean views, making it an ideal place to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere. The food never disappoints—everything is fresh and full of flavor. The market fish of the day is always perfectly cooked, and the tuna tartare is a standout, light and absolutely delicious. A go-to place for a relaxing meal by the beach with consistently amazing food!
Absolutely stunning atmosphere. For a moment, I genuinely felt like I was dining on the set of The White Lotus. The ambience is easily 5 stars and was by far the highlight of the experience. Unfortunately, the food and drinks were a real letdown. I ordered the steak cooked medium, and honestly, it was quite unpleasant. After the meal, I asked for a double-shot cappuccino. I assumed the cup size would match the extra shot so the flavour would still be balanced, but instead it came in a small cup that was really only suitable for a single shot. With the extra shot added, the taste was overwhelmingly strong, almost like an espresso rather than a cappuccino. By that point, I was already too disappointed to even bother raising it with the staff. Ambience: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Food: 2/5
Insta: @pertheatswithem Came for birthday celebration. We asked to be seated inside but the doors were all open so inside vs the deck can become a bit similar. If it’s a bit breezy - bring a jacket. Tho. They do have some blankets available which is a lovely touch. Most of the entrees I found ok but not amazing. The smoked butter with the bread was delightful. The croquets were very strong on the cod taste and texturally were not what you’d expect from. A croquette. For mains everything was beautiful. The prawn and crab linguini would be a standout. Pictured is the smaller size. The fish was also a favourite. Of the sides. The pumpkin was beautiful. I couldn’t stop eating this. I will note. The thing that impressed me was the young man serving us. A ginger bloke, i think his name was Fin, he was great.
