Samphire is a wonderful resort, we only had two days unfortunately but it was great. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We loved our complimentary yoga class and the relaxing indoor lounge for tea, coffee and snacks. Thankyou for a wonderful time, we will be back.
Had a wonderful stay here at Samphire Rottnest. From the time of check in to check out, we were extremely relaxed. The entire atmosphere is relaxing and calm, with a touch of lux to your stay. The staff are friendly and the reception staff were great even after not being able to find our booking. The rooms are a great size, the beds and pillows are very comfortable for a great night's rest. Each room has balcony or direct ground floor access, making for a beautiful indoor/outdoor stay with beautiful sliding doors to open the room up. Your bathroom is super spacious, however there is a severe lack of water pressure in the shower, which is disappointing, especially when you have a giant rain fall shower head. Your soaps, (while a minor detail) are really difficult to get anything out of due to the locking system being so close to the pump head. The Samphire has a wonderful pool with 1 tailored for children, wonderful pool side beds for you to relax and a great addition of ordering QR codes at eat bed for you to order for and drinks. The Club Lounge is a great, quiet space to relax with complimentary coffee, great offering! Although, it would have been nice to have something different than a doughnut everyday as a little treat. All in all, a truly great stay and look forward to visiting again.
Apologies for the late review. We stayed at Samphire Rottnest for eight nights inn February. Our room was a Beachfront Super King Suite. From the moment we arrived to the time we left we had such an amazing time at this wonderful property. The room was spacious, very clean and stocked with excellent amenities. The views across to Perth were stunning and overlooking a beautiful beach. The sliding glass balcony doors were amazing giving the room that real outside feel when required in the beautiful weather. The food at all the outlets was to a very high standard and the breakfast was amazing with an extensive choice to please any taste. The pool area was a relaxing haven with a very nice pool bar serving excellent cocktails and food. One of the main standouts for us was the excellent team that work here. Starting at the top, Elizabeth, the Assistant General Manager who was always on hand with a friendly chat to make sure all was well, through to Will and David the porters who could not have been more helpful. Dana on reception was also amazing making the check in and out process such a breeze and explaining so well all that we needed to know. One other mention is for Thomas the Restaurant Manager at Lontara, he was so attentive and helpful making the experience truly memorable. In summary a real gem here and we could not have been happier, so much so that we have rebooked for next year to escape the winter in the UK.
“Adorable Quokkas right at our doorstep” We recently stayed at Samphire Rottnest and absolutely loved every minute of our getaway. The location is simply unbeatable—perfectly positioned to enjoy everything the island has to offer while feeling like a private oasis.. Our Poolside King room was immaculate, beautifully appointed, and so comfortable. Stepping out right onto the lush grounds and heated pools was incredibly relaxing. There were so many great resort activities and touches that elevated the trip. We highly enjoyed the bubbles and oysters experience, as well as winding down with cocktails by the fire pits on the white sand as the sun went down—so romantic! Another massive highlight was having access to Samphire Club. It was the perfect cosy retreat to grab complimentary tea, coffee, baked goods, and fresh fruit whenever we needed a quiet break. Waking up to a delicious daily breakfast at Lontara and world class restaurant options for lunch and dinner within a few minutes walk. From the immaculate rooms to the highly attentive and personal service, everything was flawless. Highly recommend if you are looking for a luxurious, relaxing escape to Rotto!
We had a truly wonderful stay at Samphire Rottnest, a place that perfectly reflects the relaxed beauty and charm of Rottnest Island. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the team. Our beachside room was beautifully designed, peaceful, and offered stunning views that made every moment feel special. Waking up so close to the ocean and enjoying the calm surroundings was an unforgettable experience. The attention to detail, thoughtful touches, and overall atmosphere made our stay feel effortless and genuinely enjoyable. Everything was well organised, comfortable, and perfectly suited to the island’s laid-back lifestyle. One of the highlights was enjoying a relaxing drink by the pool. The staff were absolutely incredible and went above and beyond for us, kindly allowing us to unwind by the pool until it was time for our ferry to depart. This level of care made the end of our stay completely stress-free and truly memorable. On Christmas Day, the hotel manager surprised us with a lovely handwritten letter wishing us a Merry Christmas, accompanied by a plate of fresh cherries and handmade biscuits. Such a thoughtful and personal gesture made us feel truly special and added a beautiful touch to our stay. Samphire Rottnest is more than just a place to stay , it’s an experience. Stylish, relaxing, and deeply connected to its surroundings. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rottnest Island.
