Description

Discover why Western Australia is a true paradise for nature lovers on this immersive 7-day adventure from Perth to the spectacular Coral Coast. Travelling north from the world’s most remote capital city, you’ll uncover ancient landscapes, World Heritage–listed marine parks, dramatic gorges and pristine beaches that reveal a side of Australia many travellers never experience. Your journey begins in Perth before heading to the surreal Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park. Wander among thousands of limestone spires rising from golden sands, then continue along Indian Ocean Drive with sweeping coastal views. Enjoy a seaside lunch in Jurien Bay and stop at the famous Pink Lake near Geraldton (conditions permitting) before arriving in the relaxed seaside town of Kalbarri. In Kalbarri National Park, explore the spectacular Murchison Gorge, carved over millions of years by the Murchison River. Hike down to the riverbanks and peer through the iconic Nature’s Window, a natural rock arch framing the ancient gorge below. You may also visit the Kalbarri Skywalk for panoramic views high above the cliffs. For adventure seekers, an optional Z-Bend abseil offers a thrilling way to experience the gorge from a different perspective (additional cost). During wildflower season, the park transforms into a vibrant tapestry of colour. Continuing north, enter the World Heritage–listed Shark Bay region, renowned for its unique landscapes and extraordinary wildlife. Walk along Shell Beach, made entirely of billions of tiny white shells, and marvel at the ancient stromatolites at Lake Thetis — among the oldest living fossils on Earth. At Monkey Mia, meet the famous wild dolphins that visit the shoreline each morning. The region is home to around 2,000 dolphins as well as dugongs, turtles, kangaroos and emus, making it a wildlife haven. The adventure continues to the World Heritage–listed Ningaloo Reef, one of the world’s largest fringing reefs. Stay in beautiful Coral Bay, where vibrant coral gardens begin just metres from shore. Snorkel in crystal-clear waters, relax on white sandy beaches, or join an optional tour to swim with graceful manta rays or seasonal whale sharks. Further north in Exmouth, explore the rugged beauty of Cape Range National Park, where limestone ranges dramatically meet the sea. Snorkel the turquoise waters of Turquoise Bay, unwind on pristine beaches, and enjoy sweeping sunset views from Vlamingh Head Lighthouse. Seasonal whale shark (March–September) and humpback whale (August–October) swim experiences are available (pre-booking required). As you journey south, stop in Carnarvon and Geraldton, visit the HMAS Sydney Memorial, stroll coastal trails at Green Head and take in views from the Lancelin Sand Dunes Lookout. Return to Perth around 6:00pm with unforgettable memories, incredible photos and new friendships forged along Western Australia’s breathtaking coastline.
