Description
Begin your journey in Perth before heading to the Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park, where thousands of limestone spires rise from golden sands. Continue along Indian Ocean Drive with coastal views, enjoy lunch at Jurien Bay, and visit the Pink Lake near Geraldton when conditions allow. Then arrive in the relaxed town of Kalbarri.
In Kalbarri National Park, explore the Murchison Gorge carved by the Murchison River. Hike down to the riverbanks and view Nature’s Window, a natural rock arch framing the gorge. Visit the Kalbarri Skywalk for panoramic cliff views. Adventure options include an additional-cost Z-Bend abseil. During wildflower season, the park blooms with colorful flora.
Next, visit the Shark Bay World Heritage-listed region, known for its unique landscapes and wildlife. Walk Shell Beach, composed entirely of tiny white shells, and see stromatolites at Lake Thetis, some of the oldest living fossils. At Monkey Mia, encounter wild dolphins that visit the shore each morning alongside dugongs, turtles, kangaroos, and emus.
The tour continues to Ningaloo Reef, one of the world’s largest fringing reefs. Stay in Coral Bay, where vibrant coral gardens are metres from shore. Snorkel in clear waters or join optional tours to swim with manta rays or seasonal whale sharks.
In Exmouth, explore Cape Range National Park’s limestone ranges and turquoise bays. Snorkel at Turquoise Bay, relax on beaches, and watch sunsets from Vlamingh Head Lighthouse. Seasonal whale shark (March–September) and humpback whale (August–October) swim tours are available with pre-booking.
On the return south, visit Carnarvon and Geraldton, see the HMAS Sydney Memorial, stroll coastal trails at Green Head, and view the Lancelin Sand Dunes. Arrival back in Perth is around 6:00pm, concluding the immersive adventure.

Important Information
- Mandatory passenger details required at booking: date of birth, food allergies, and contact phone number
- A moderate to advanced fitness level is required for walks between 2km and 4km daily on steep, rocky terrain in sun and humidity; a 9.5km walk is included. Walks are at the guide’s discretion for safety.
- Participants over 75 years must provide a doctor’s certificate 30 days prior to travel.
- Children aged 8 to 17 must be accompanied by an adult; not suitable for children 7 and under.
- Limited baggage allowance: 1 x 15kg travel bag plus 1 x 5kg day bag due to vehicle space limits
