Located opposite the Civic Hotel, Mille Caffe is a charming Italian restaurant. This popular little café draws both visitors and locals alike, giving it a lively atmosphere, particularly in the evenings.
The café is open for breakfast at the weekends and offers international favourites with an added Italian twist – don’t miss the Italian-style French toast. The lunchtime menu consists of sandwiches, ciabattas and a number of healthy, exotic salads. Later in the day you can enjoy all the usual Italian pastas, risottos and meat dishes, but by far the cheapest option is the pizza menu, even though choice is fairly limited. From Sunday through to Thursday, one pizza will cost just $9.95.
The café offers a BYO wine policy, but also offers it’s own wine list, as well as a small cocktail menu that includes the intriguing Italian Sangria.
