Reviews
I loved the cocktails, they were really good!! The bar's atmosphere is great, and a special mention for Guillaume, the bartender, who was very pleasant and friendly. I recommend you check it out. The bar's entrance is really fun; it's through a library, very original! Thank you so much for this wonderful evening!
Excellent cocktails and exquisite service. Can thoroughly recommend. We did visit early, so we had the bar to ourselves, which enabled us to have a good conversation with the bartender.
This place is an absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere, the energy, and the attention to detail were immaculate — but what truly made the night unforgettable was Guy. Guy is not just a waiter, he is a cocktail artist and experience curator. His knowledge, passion, and ability to read exactly what we felt like drinking was next level. Every recommendation was perfectly tailored, every cocktail beautifully balanced, and each one felt like a journey rather than just a drink. He guided us through flavours, spirits, and moods with such confidence and warmth — making us feel completely looked after without ever being overbearing. It’s rare to meet someone who elevates a venue so effortlessly just by being exceptional at what they do. If you come here, do yourself a favour and ask for Guy. The cocktails are outstanding, but his guidance turns a great bar into an unforgettable experience. We’ll be back — again and again.
⭐ Review — from a non-drinker As a non-drinker, I wasn’t sure what to expect — especially stepping into my first ever speakeasy. But L’chaim turned out to be a hidden gem. Tucked away and not easy to find, it adds to the charm and character of the experience. Walking in felt like stepping into another time and place — the ambiance, mood, and décor were perfectly curated without feeling pretentious. The bartender was superb: warm, welcoming, and genuinely accommodating, even for someone who doesn’t drink alcohol. The cocktails were beautifully presented and thoughtfully crafted, with flavours that were balanced and enjoyable. A secret little spot that feels intentional, intimate, and memorable — a surprisingly lovely experience even as a non-drinker.
What a great little speakeasy! We visited when it was quiet in the afternoon, but the open piano nights sound amazing and I can imagine the place goes off when it’s packed. The bar menu was amazing and the guy behind the bar was super friendly and knowledgeable (owner or manager I think) Would highly recommend visiting for something a little different.
