The rooms were far from spacious however it had everything we needed as a base for our Fremantle/Rottnest is adventure. The service was exceptional, breakfast delicious, everything was clean and comfortable and the location was ideal with everything within walking distance.

Stayed on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Everything about the hotel exceeded my expectations. I marked the room down a bit but that was on me because it was a bit small for my size. The staff ere excellent and the continental breakfast had quality food options. I will definitely stay there next time I am in Fremantle.

Delightful little hotel in the heart of everything Freo. Loved our cabin room which yes is small but thoughtful in its design, loved the smaller lighter breakfast option and the wine/beer and cheese hour at the micro brewery. Things like the tea, coffee and amenities were really high quality and we appreciated that for a little cherry on top of our staycation. We will be back.

Lovely stay at this hotel. They allowed me to check in early after a 16.5 hour flight from Paris. From the get go staff are welcoming and lovely! There is a wonderful wine and cheese hour at this location. I was only staying a night then heading out to rottnest island. The hotel held my bags and even allowed me to have a shower before my flight back to Melbourne. Thanks for the lovely hospitality Kat! I would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous hotel! Lovely, friendly & helpful staff! The Hougoumont's named after the last Convict ship to dock in Freo. Loved the nautical concept this lovely hotel is based on, where your room resembles a ship cabin. Right in the heart of 'FREEO-A-GO-GO', with the street running off Market St, it is close to Fremantle Markets and lively Cafe strip - you couldn't ask for a better location. Would stay there again!
