Criterion Hotel Perth
The Criterion Hotel Perth boasts the fact of being the oldest hotel in Perth, having opened its doors originally as the Regatta Hotel Complex in 1840. It changed hands and underwent an extensive makeover in 1996, and has enjoyed a vibrant second life since. The original art-deco façade and other parts of the hotel are currently being preserved for the Heritage Conservation and to enhance the original ambiance of the area. Despite the original framework and art deco distinguishments, the hotel maintains a modern day look.
