Having been importing products from Greece since it was first established in 1929, the Kakulas Brothers bring specialty European treats to Western Australia. Step inside this rustic, old-fashioned shop to find an emporium of spices and exotic ingredients on the shelves.
The store stocks products that you won’t find in the regular food shops. Come here to purchase overseas ingredients such as herbs, spices, rice, beans, sauces and seasonings, as well as meats, cheeses and a range of sweet treats. Alternatively, come for a coffee or afternoon tea and enjoy one of the imported sweet or savoury snacks.
In contrast to the numerous modern delis in the city, Kakulas Brothers offers a much more traditional, old school food experience at very reasonable prices. The original store sits on William Street, and a second sister store has been opened in Fremantle under the name ‘Kakula’s Sister’. All products are available online via the store’s website.
