Hammersley Public Golf Course is a fantastic venue for those who fancy a quick nine-hole practice as opposed to an 18-hole marathon. Generally considered as a friendly and forgiving course, it is perfect for a casual stroll with friends as you make your way round this part of the beautiful Karrinyup suburb.
Despite bunkers here being a scarcity (you will only encounter them at the first hole) and favourable wide fairways, visitors will still find a challenge in the form of surprisingly tight doglegs and in places native grass trees seem to swallow up any wayward tee shots, so keep your eyes peeled. The greens also vary quite wildely in pace, so you may find the ball racing away towards the rough or a putt coming up quicker than you previously judged.
