Ah lads, went for a Sunday dinner in the hooker. To be fair now the calamari and the pie were absolutely lovely (hence the 3 stars) but my partner got a steak and it was in fact cooked perfectly. But the steak was stone cold. My initial thought was “your steak looks dry” -it in fact was - and cold also. Sent it back (he was going to eat it cold) and it came back again cold in the middle (same steak) he didn’t want to send it back to be cooked for a third time so we just left it behind, pints and all. The manager on was lovely and accommodating and couldn’t fault himself.
Absolutely heaving on a Sunday evening, given the public holiday Monday. Food was delicious. Pints at higher end of price. Did the job. Worth a visit
Fantastic location on Scarborough beach. Great atmosphere, live music. Had a great time watching live Irish dancing on st Patrick day! Loads of seating inside, room outside on a deck. Ocean views.
Worth a visit for the drinks but I would not recommend eating there. The food is fine but its one of the most expensive pubs in Perth. At $38 for a Parmi (with curry sauce), its just not worth it. The place also gets super loud so its impossible to talk in a group.
What a great location, service good, atmosphere great, and the food was really good. The wife loved the prawns and my steak was cooked right for medium. Ordered via the QR code on the table, drinks arrived quite quickly and food in an acceptable time. Enjoyed the cider and mocktail Sippin' Pretty, Passion fruit and lemon based🍸 was really tasty 😋 I was told. Such a relaxing location, sit out the front for beach views, we sat inside, very cosy.
