Daoirí Farrell

Perth

Dublin folk singer and bouzouki player Daoirí Farrell burst on to the folk music scene with two prestigious BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards in 2017, declared by BBC Folk Show presenter Mark Radciffe as, ‘the real deal’. He has gone on to perform across the world and be hailed by and shared stages with the greats of Irish folk music and beyond.

In 2027 the Tonkünstler Orchestra and Daoirí will perform songs and tunes from Daoirí’s catalogue in The Musikverein in Vienna.

‘His powerfully unadorned vocals might be from any era, variously recalling Paul Brady and Andy Irvine.’ **** Mojo
