Barry Castagnola - The Last of the Barrys

Perth

Fresh from supporting Greg Davies on his ‘Full Fat Legend’ tour, Barry takes his own show on the road. And on a plane. All the way here to Australia. Still utterly furious his parents chose the name Barry, it’s too late to change it now. And anyway, what’s in a name? Quite a lot it turns out. Some topics covered in the show: An embarrassingly racist dog, a monkey-obsessed mother, an IVF child who cost so much he’s unlikely to be able to spend much time with due to working to pay off the debt. A solution to the Middle East crisis. And there’s a song at the beginning that’s so good, it should probably be at the end. All in all, it’s a show jam-packed with laughs. He’d like to point out that he wrote the above (and this) and to be honest, he finds it a bit weird to be writing in the third person. He (i) also thinks it’s presumptuous to say his (my) show is jam-packed with laughs (even though he’s (I’m) very confident it will be as the ones he’s (I’ve) done so far have been). Why don’t you be the judge and come along? He (I) would also like to clarify that the quotes below weren’t written by him (me) but by actual reviewers (and an endorsement from Greg Davies). And he (I) would like to thank you for the time you’ve spent reading this and he (I) hopes to see you at one of the shows. Otherwise, he’s (I’ve) come a long way to lose money. And, as I (he) told you, I’ve got a daughter to finish paying for. As seen on: BBC Channel 4 ITV SKY “Astonishingly funny” ★★★★★ The List “Perfect" ★★★★★ 3 weeks “Hugely entertaining” ★★★★ Chortle "A confident, likeable comic, it’s his self-deprecating bemusement that provides the most hilarity.” ★★★★ Metro “His charm and willingness to make himself look ridiculous carry him through the trickiest of subject matter.” ★★★★ Edfest "By far the funniest Barry I know (since my uncle died)" Greg Davies bohmpresents.com Want to receive the latest news about upcoming tours and access to exclusive pre-sales, special offers and tour updates?
