Cottesloe Beach is one of Perth's most iconic beaches.  It is calm and safe for swimmers because it is a sheltered bay.  It is home to the iconic Indiana Cafe which has been a favourite for postcard photos.  Apart form the Indiana Cafe there are many other eateries and cafes on the main stretch of Marine Parade.  Car parking facilities are adequate in the quieter months but in summer you'll be lucky if you get a space so get there early to avoid disappointment.
