Founded by Veda Swain and launched in Adelaide in 1972, Greenhill Galleries has opened its doors in Perth and since become one of Australia’s leading commercial art galleries. It is one of Australia’s longest established commercial galleries and showcases collections of local, interstate and international artworks, handling some of Australia’s finest contemporary artists. Artists represented in the galleries have included the likes of Ray Crooke, Zhong Chen, Annette Bezor, Matthew Johnson and many more. Exhibitions change throughout the year regularly, with a wide range of artistic styles displayed including paintings, prints and sculptures.
The gallery prides itself on the advice and assistance it gives to first-time buyers, long-term clients, architects, interior designers and other major corporate and private collectors. The gallery itself consists of two floors and a subtle low-lit basement and welcomes plenty of light into its intimate and simplistic space. The gallery is child-friendly and browsers are welcome.
