The Bakery is one of Perth's hippest and funkiest multi function venues. It has spaces for live bands, artistes, screenings of films made by Australian film makers, art installations and exhibitions and a large beer garden that is very popular. The Bakery has a an indie, edgy feel to it, right from its unconventional and obscure entrance to the alternative acts and artworks it displays. Entry is via the rear of the buidling, behind Metro City Club. Tip: Look for the red sea containers. The dress code is hip and casual. The Bakery is run by the not for profit arts organistaion, Artrage.
