Really good property. My room 211 was a bit dated in parts but it is still a modern hotel. Took a bit of time to find the laundry room as not very well signed or on floor maps... Amilie at checking (not sure of spelling sorry) was super helpfull and friendly and the Jake at the atrium bar was also great.

Comfortable room, clean, quiet, ground floor. Good location easy walking from the hotel. Handy for the ferry to Rotness Island. Only grumble, Dining room not open on the Tuesday night, but ate at the bar. Small menu but well presented and delicious. Handy carpark across the road. enjoyed our stay.

I recently stayed at the Esplanade Hotel in Fremantle and I have to say I was really underwhelmed. It definitely didn't feel like a 4.5-star experience to me. From the start, my room was located in a corridor where they were doing active painting, so the whole area smelled of strong fumes and there were workers constantly walking back and forth. It’s hard to feel relaxed when you're in the middle of a construction zone. The room itself felt quite bare and tired, lacking those little touches that usually make a high-end hotel feel welcoming. There weren't even any decorative pillows on the bed, so the whole space just felt a bit empty. The gym was also a big disappointment - it’s extremely basic and didn't even have a water fountain, which seems like a huge oversight for a hotel of this supposed caliber. What really frustrated me, though, was the service. My air conditioning was stuck on a freezing cold setting when I checked in. I called down and was told someone would come up to fix it, but after waiting for an hour, nobody showed up. When I followed up, I was told they only had one person at reception and no concierge staff working because they were busy with other check-ins. I don’t see how a 4.5-star hotel can operate with such a skeleton staff. All in all, the stay wasn't worth the rating or the price, and I wouldn't recommend it.

A beautiful hotel to stay in, comfortable and the service was fantastic. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, plenty of power points to charge my devices. I had the buffet breakfast on two mornings which was delicious and fairly priced. Also had room service one night, the steak was cooked to perfection. The location was beautiful, right opposite the park and a minutes walk from the water, close to the shops and restaurants.

The Hotel and room had everything we needed. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. The extra pillow menu is always a nice touch for a fussy sleeper. The staff were super friendly and helpful, food and drink done well also. The bathroom could use an update, and a bit of TLC for the main room. But it's a big hotel in a popular location, these things do take time.
