Description
Follow Gooralong Brook on one of Perth’s notable hiking trails, the Kitty’s Gorge route. This 9km hike covers the Stacey’s Loop and Kitty’s Gorge trails, crossing bridges, cascades, and moss-covered granite outcrops. Walk through dense jarrah forest, an old pine plantation, and past multiple waterfalls, all leading to Serpentine Falls in Serpentine National Park.
Midway through the hike, enjoy a nutritious morning tea beside the Serpentine River amid tranquil forest sounds. The trek concludes at Serpentine Falls, where you can relax and often spot kangaroos nearby. The journey includes scenic views, natural beauty, historical insights, and iconic waterfalls.
After the hike, the OTBT bus transfers you back to Jarrahdale, providing an opportunity to explore this historic town at your own pace in the afternoon.
