Description

Enjoy a private 5-day tour from Perth to Monkey Mia and back, exploring Western Australia’s north coast, national parks, beaches, wildlife areas and natural landmarks with a driver-guide. Day 1: Depart Perth and visit Fremantle Market, then continue to Yanchep National Park to enjoy native bushland, limestone scenery and the chance to see koalas and kangaroos. Travel to the Lancelin White Sand Dunes for photos, visit the Lobster Shack or lobster factory area, then continue to Jurien Bay. Recommended overnight stop: Jurien Bay. Day 2: Visit the Leaning Trees of Greenough, then continue to Geraldton. Travel toward the Pink Lake area, where colours vary depending on weather, season and water conditions. Continue to Kalbarri. Recommended overnight stop: Kalbarri. Day 3: Explore Kalbarri National Park, including viewpoints, red rock gorges and highlights such as Nature’s Window or Kalbarri Skywalk, depending on conditions and accessibility. Continue toward Shark Bay and visit the stromatolites area, one of the world’s oldest living life forms. Arrive in the Monkey Mia or Denham area. Optional activities at your own expense may include kayaking or relaxing by the beach. Recommended overnight stop: Monkey Mia or Denham. Day 4: Start with the Monkey Mia dolphin experience, where wild dolphins may visit the beach under ranger supervision. Guests may also choose an optional scenic flight at their own expense over Little Lagoon, Shark Bay and the coastline. Continue to Denham for lunch, then visit Eagle Bluff and Shell Beach before travelling south to Geraldton. Recommended overnight stop: Geraldton. Day 5: Visit the HMAS Sydney II Memorial in Geraldton. If time allows, the Greenough historic settlement ruins can be visited as an optional stop at the guest’s own expense. Continue south toward Jurien Bay for lunch or a rest stop, then visit the Pinnacles Desert in Nambung National Park before returning to Perth in the evening. The tour includes private vehicle transport, driver-guide service, fuel, standard parking where applicable, and national park entry fees for the planned national park visits. Accommodation is not included. Guests are responsible for hotel booking and payment, as prices vary by guest numbers, room type, season and availability. Hotel recommendations can be provided. Meals, drinks, Greenough ruins entry fee, kayaking, scenic flights, optional activities, personal expenses and travel insurance are not included. We recommend staying at Monkey Mia Resort where possible, as it is the most convenient location for the early morning dolphin experience. Each touring day is approximately 10 hours. Extra time may be charged as overtime. The itinerary may be adjusted depending on weather, road conditions, attraction opening hours, daylight hours, and guest interests. Wildlife sightings, dolphin appearances, Pink Lake colours, and marine life sightings are natural experiences and cannot be guaranteed.
