Fantastic fresh fish, cooked beautifully and at a great price. What really stood out was the thoughtful service—they even brought out a bowl of water for our dog without us asking. Such a lovely touch that made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend, and we’ll definitely be back!
Dine in with group of friends. I had red emperor and chips: best fish I’ve had for years - white, flaky lovely flavour and light tempura style batter - delicious! Excellent chips too, crisp and good potato flavour. Friends said their’s was good too. Good priced beer to wash it down: $11 pint vs $17 a pint just down the road! Lovely lady looking after us. Highly recommended!
Went for Dinner last night 6:30 booking and was very pleasantly surprised. Not your basic fish and chips place, but much better. Chips were awesome, atmosphere great and service very good. I am not a huge fish eater, but it tasted really good.
Been here a few times- excellent grub. Really really good food. Tonight was no exception except we decided to sit outside as there was no one there and I was a nice night. My partner ordered inside-take away option- and when she was bringing the food out, she was accompanied by a staff member who kindly told us that because we ordered take away we couldn't eat outside. Even though we just payed 100 dollars for 3 meals... Which were outstanding but still... Come on..
I really enjoyed my meal at Rusty Old Boat Fish and Chips. The place is clean and pleasant, the fish was perfectly crispy, and the staff were really friendly and welcoming.
