We had an incredible evening at Modu Bar for the Wagyu 5-course night with Lux Wagyu House. 😊 The quality of the meat was outstanding and every bite was premium. Chef Jace crafted each dish beautifully, and he checked in with us throughout the evening, as did Lee, who made sure everything was running smoothly. Jeffrey from Lux Wagyu House introduced us to the cuts we would be enjoying before each course, which really elevated the whole experience. The cocktails were fantastic, the food was flawless, and the attention to detail that night was just incredible. We can’t wait to go back.
First time at Modu and was expectedly surprised. I accidentally booked the wrong day and when we arrived at our time slot they were still able to accommodate a table of 5 for us. Food was fantastic, good service and although I wasn’t quite sure about the live music at first, it turned out to be great and we even had a dance on the floor. Thanks Modu!
It was honestly so good. The quality of the food was amazing and you can really taste the freshness and care in every dish. We tried the special tuna and it definitely did not disappoint — absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere, great service, and excellent value for the quality. I’ll definitely be coming back!
The sirloin was delicious but the menu could be clearer about the weight. The staff also didn’t ask for my preferred doneness. At $48 without sides, I found the main quite pricey. My friends’ pork and chicken portions looked generous. Overall, the food was good.
One of the best hidden gem in Perth for Asian Fusion's food. Started with bar platter, the eggplant dip & lemongrass banger were worth the shout out on that platter, overall great platter to start with Next winner entree was peking duck tacos, crunchy tacos and moist duck was to die for. The main sharing dishes we ordered blue emperor, sirloin steak, pork char siew, crab fried rice & salted egg pizza. Omg, we couldn't fault all the dishes. They were all delicious! Final dish was of course the som tum ice cream (papaya salad ice cream). We ordered this dish out of our curiosity, but it was so so good, the savoury ice cream paired with raw papaya was a real match. One of the winner dessert in my opinion. There is the bar for people who like to have the drink as well. Service was great! There was live music that we enjoyed. It was a great experience, and will definitely be back for some other occasions. Highly recommended
