We were treated like family and the food was 11/10 . I have eaten seafood platters all over WA and nothing has compared to this. Every element of the food had its own defining flavour. Don’t waste your time contemplating a visit and just get in here and experience excellence.
We recently visited Bays Bays for lunch and had such a lovely experience. My partner ordered the surf and turf and it was absolutely delicious — I had a nibble and can confirm it was so tasty! I ordered the chicken burger and it was delightful. I also enjoyed a mojito while my partner had a beer, and everything was fantastic. What truly made our visit special though was our waiter, Dave. He went above and beyond for us from start to finish. Honestly, I’ve never met a waiter as good as Dave. He was incredibly kind, caring, attentive and genuine. To top it all off, Dave returned my partner’s wallet and even walked all the way from Bays Bays to Scarborough Beach to make sure it got back to him safely. That level of kindness and effort is so rare these days. We can’t thank Dave enough — he’s an absolute credit to the restaurant. We’ll definitely be back. 5 stars all around! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We came here a year ago whilst on holiday and absolutely loved the food here. So much so we came 3 times in the 1 week here for dinner. This year again we were excited to come back, and I'm not sure if owners changed in the year or the chef, but the food was absolutely terrible. I got the fettuccine lamb ragout last year - 5* .. this year I couldn't even eat the lamb. I wouldn't call it slow cooked, it was just cooked lamb chunks by the seem that had a terrible taste when eaten. The toilets were disgusting and could very very much use a good sweep. Had a really stale smell in there also. Disappointing experience this time given the last experience, and don't think ill pay a visit next year while we're back here.
I like their happy hours, that's sick. 🐐 Beer🍺 $12 a glass (holiday service charge not included), also has food but I didn't try it. The beer was pretty good though. 👍🏻✨✨
