We all enjoyed our day at the Wray Hotel on Sunday. It was my son's birthday, so my family came along as well and enjoyed the food, and the venue. Service was good, the food was lovely. I play badminton at a club, and for the last 2-3 years I ask the baddie players if they would like to go to the Wray Hotel to have our Xmas lunch, and the players all say how much they all enjoy going to the Wray to have our Xmas lunch, and always have a good time there. Our group was here for a quiet dinner catch up... And, by accident found ourselves amongst the electric atmosphere of a football derby.. Didn't mind the exciting game and energy of the game and crowd. Every room was pulsating with different groups enjoying a fantastic meal and exhilarating football game.. Oh, the food was absolutely delicious! Good, honest food - hardly greasy pub fare.. lots of choices but everyone in our group was very impressed with their meal. One of our party is a chef - and suitably happy with her choice. Would recommend - YES!!! But please check if there is a football match on and come on another night if you are hoping for a quiet night.. Five ++ stars for the food and service!!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tina made our visit to The Wray so much better! From the moment we arrived, she was so welcoming, friendly and genuinely attentive. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Her customer service was outstanding – she was warm, professional and had such a positive attitude that made us feel right at home. It’s rare to come across someone who clearly loves what they do, and it really showed. The food, drinks and atmosphere were already fantastic, but Tina’s service was what made the experience memorable. She’s an absolute asset to The Wray, and we’ll definitely be back because of her. Sunday night dinner at the Wray, bistro downstairs dining is nice, lots of booth seating. We ordered the truffle mushroom pasta, steak sandwich, and grilled snapper and chips. Steak sandwich and pasta was delicious, snapper was a bit tough. We love the senior meals for $20, makes eating out reasonable for good quality food. Chicken parmi looks amazing though, have to come back for that.
