Established in 1996, the Gadfly Gallery is one of Perth's finest collections of contemporary fine art. The exhibitions change on a monthly basis, showing international artists as well as local Australians. Art work from all different genres is on display to provide for all tastes.
As well as artists exhibitions, the venue hosts alternative evenings, such as Tango dance shows, where you can witness the artistic nature of the sultry dance.
The owner of the gallery, Anna Kwiecinska has a great interest in textiles within the Indian community and commonly creates cross culture projects in which Indian craftswomen interpret Australian Aboriginal paintings in textile form.
Anna also takes budding artists on artistic retreats where she gathers images and inspiration for her work, with creative living retreats in Bali and India being immensely popular.
If you're looking for a quiet, arty and inspiring venue then the Gadfly Gallery is the place to go; the artwork is sublime and the ambience is relaxing.
