Step inside the Dilettante boutique in Perth and you’ll understand where it gets its name. The word Dilettante translates as an admirer or lover of the arts, which is showcased through the striking fashion and art infusion that is housed inside this unique high fashion store.
Since its opening in 2007, this small shop has become a gallery of contemporary art, showcasing truly individual clothing alongside ever-changing installations. It houses a wide femme and homme collection that features Australian and International brands such as Vivienne Westwood, Gareth Pugh and Cacharel, as well as a number of footwear and accessory labels.
The main store is situated on Wellington Street in Perth, and an additional pop-up shop can be found on Bayview Terrace in Claremont. In true designer fashion store style, the stock can be fairly minimal and clothes are on sale at premium prices, but Dilettante is well worth the visit even it’s just for spectacle purposes.
