We didn’t have a reservation but managed get a table inside nonetheless. We ordered the Roasted Pumpkin Salad for two. It was delicious. Very different. And large enough portions too. Excellent value for money, lovely atmosphere and very good service.
WOW… we came for breakfast and left talking about pancakes for the rest of the day! 😍🥞✨ We shared the big breakfast, which was absolutely delightful — fresh, generous, beautifully cooked, and packed with flavour. It was the perfect start to our morning. ☕🍳👌 Then came dessert. We decided to share the Monroe fluffy meringue pancakes and, honestly, nothing could have prepared us for what arrived at the table. 🤯💕 The presentation alone was spectacular, but the taste and texture took things to another level entirely. Light, fluffy, airy, sweet, and simply unlike any pancakes we have ever experienced. Even sharing one serve had us both on a complete sugar high! 😂🍓🍦✨ The coffee was wonderful too, even though ours had cooled down a little while we lingered over breakfast. ☕❤️ We sat outside with our dogs, which made for a lovely relaxed experience. 🐶🌿 The setting is beautiful, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff were absolutely fantastic — friendly, attentive, and genuinely lovely. 😊👏 This is one of those places that exceeds expectations and leaves a lasting impression. If you’re anywhere near Guildford, do yourself a favour and visit. And whatever you do, don’t leave without trying those pancakes! 🥞⭐🙌 :
I came here for breakfast in this morning and I really enjoyed the pancakes at this restaurant. It was soft, fluffy, and perfectly cooked and I also ordered padbury’s hash which was yummy and crispy I have never had before. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and the food arrived quickly. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, making it a great place for breakfast and brunch. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back again.
Great brunch spot with a really nice atmosphere. The Padbury hash was delicious and the magic mushrooms were full of flavour with perfectly poached eggs. Service was friendly and the space has a relaxed vibe that makes it a great place to catch up with friends. Food and service were both very good — definitely worth a visit.
