We had a few servers come to our table, some were not doing their best. Atmosphere was ok because the table next to ours was very loud. However towards the end we had an Italian guy (John i think his name was) went above and beyond. We’re muslim hijabis and instead of informing us which dishes had alcohol, he also enlightened us that most desserts had pork gelatine! We wouldn’t have even thought of it! Thank you John! Agh sorry i couldn’t delete photos of the cakes 😅😂
Delicious food and exceptional service. Johnny went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary requirements, adjusting not only the main course but also the dessert when he learned that I do not eat meat. His kindness and attention to detail made our lunch truly memorable. Johnny is a real asset to the team. We will definitely be back!
I've visited Nobu more than eight times, but this is my first time leaving a review. Overall, the food was excellent as always, and Nobu has never disappointed me. However, this time I made the mistake of ordering the lamb rack at a Japanese restaurant. Unfortunately, it was the only dish that let me down. The sauce was very acidic and spicy, which completely overpowered the natural flavour of the lamb. All I could taste was the strong sauce, and personally, I didn't enjoy that combination. On the other hand, the salmon with pear was wonderfully fresh and light. The flavours complemented each other beautifully. The soft-shell crab with watermelon and a unique sweet-and-sour dressing was also absolutely delicious. My favourite dish remains the Black Cod. It's a must-try and something I order every single visit. Perfectly cooked, rich in flavour, and simply unforgettable. Despite the lamb dish not being to my taste, the overall dining experience was still excellent. I will definitely be back again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (or ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ if you want to deduct one star for the lamb dish)
Food was average. Service wasn’t that great. Sushi was really good and the tacos. Everything else was pretty average, not worth the price you pay. The miso soup was the worst out of everything. Pretty sure they are just using a cheap powder variant. Atmosphere isn’t that great. Your table is very close to other patrons, and not very private. I probably wouldn’t return willingly. There are cheaper alternatives that are to a higher calibre. Expect to pay around $435 for an average experience for 2 people
Had a great time here in Nobu catching up with friends and spent her birthday celebration as well. The food was incredible delicious. 😋 And shoutout to all the chefs & servers most esp to Allanis , Jonu and others behind the bar. The vibes and atmosphere is wonderful. See you guys next time.
