Great food, freshly prepared with care for food sensitivities. Lovely staff -friendly, speedy and careful. The restaurant has a family atmosphere and is clean and brightly coloured, decorated with fun and customer comfort in mind. Highly recommended for casual dining.
Went to nicks for first time tonight. Amazing menu. Everything cooked to perfection. Also the most attentive man running the restaurant. Excellent service. Prices very good too. Will definitely be back 😋
Have known Nic for many years and this restaurant is just the best. We often order it on Uber Eats as well as eat in a d have to say we are never disappointed. Special mentions for the Seafood Mee Goreng(hubs fave) Thai green chicken curry and the Laksa. All other tastings wonderful but these 3 dishes are alwys our go to. Thanks Nic...be seeing you tonight.
Visited Nic's palace after a long day at work and long day of chores. We ordered roast pork, special fried rice, combination Hofun and pepper squid. Each dish were beautifully presented and served in a generous amount. 2-3 persons can share each plate. Roast pork was seasoned perfectly. Perfect crunch on the outside and soft on the inside. The meat was not very fstry and it wasn't oily. So it can be a bit dry for some people's taste, but I liked it. Because it was easy to chew. It goes really well with the bed of perfecrly bokchoy. 8/10 Special fried rice can be eaten on its own. It's delicious, have good seasoning and variety of meat and seafood. Fluflly rice and not oily! I could be full and satisfied by just eating their special fried rice 9/10 Combination hofun, good mix of meat, seafood and appropriate vegetables. It goes well together with the hofun egg sauce. Beautifully seasoned. A bit more of the wok flavour would elevate it, or a vinegar/jalapenos on the side as an optional seasoning would be a nice addition. 8/10 Pepper squid. Perfectly cooked, it was soft and it had a good crumbing. Milky or nutty flavour. It came with a dipping sauce that tasted sweet. In my opnion, though it is nice, the peppersquid needed some seasoning. I added some soy sauce to the dip that it came with and the salty, nutfy flavour, blended really well with the sweet taste and milky flavour of the squid. I also like the fact that it is not oily! 7/10 Overall, we enjoyed the food so much, if I could eat it all I would have! The service is very friendly and hospitable. Warm smiles and they engage with their customers. You can tell it's family owned. They are very welcoming. The chef also comes out and asks if the food is okay or if the customers are enjoying themselves, which i reckon +++ 10/10 The place is a small area. Quaint, clean, and neat. Not much clutter. Good decorations for the feel they are going for. Overall experience was 8/10 I will recommend this to anyone who is craving asian food, because it's actually good quality. And i know it can satisfy cravings. I wonder what other dishes they would be introducing/rotating.
