Had a wonderful dinner at Meninas Grill! The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portions and great flavors. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and exceeded our expectations. A special shoutout to Joshua for his outstanding service. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. His warm and welcoming attitude made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend Meninas Grill for anyone looking for great food and excellent customer service. We’ll definitely be back!
We’ve always wanted to try this place, so it was a bit disappointing that it didn’t live up to our expectations. The three servers on the night were all lovely and made great cocktails, which we really appreciated. I just wish they had asked if it was our first time dining there so they could walk us through the menu a bit, especially how the banquet works. The main disappointment was the food. We ordered the Parrilla de Burgos to share, and for the price, nothing really stood out. The mushrooms with truffle oil were quite dry, the steak we ordered medium came out closer to rare and didn’t have that chargrilled flavour you’d expect, and the pork was very simple, something you could easily cook at home. The mains were 274 AUD and only came with two sauces, a mash, and two chorizo, which felt quite underwhelming for the price. Overall, we paid 355 AUD for two people. We don’t mind paying that much as long as the food is good, but unfortunately this one just didn’t deliver. That said, thank you for the birthday dessert, it was a lovely touch and we really appreciated it.
Atmosphere Nice medium to large restaurant. Dim and warm lighting inside. Many seating areas inside the restaurant. Nicely decorated and feels welcoming. Food The plates were nicely decorated and well presented. Ordered rump steak was nice but nothing special about it. Steak comes on its own and other sides need to be ordered separately. The cocktails were very nice. Service Good service, felt welcoming. Nice friendly staff and very attentive. Overall good experience.
We had a really great time at Meninas Grill. The place has a lovely atmosphere and everything felt relaxed and well organized. The food was delicious — the croquetas de jamón serrano were creamy and full of flavor, the pulpo real was perfectly cooked, and the Paella de Velázquez was the highlight of the night, truly amazing. Our server Alba was wonderful: friendly, attentive, and made us feel very well taken care of. We also enjoyed the drinks, especially The Clementina cocktail, along with Valdemar wine and Estrella beer. Overall, a fantastic experience with great food, great service, and a beautiful setting. Would definitely come back!
