I had such a wonderful lunch today, but when I left the restaurant, I completely forgot my Cartier sunglasses. I was already sitting on the boat heading back to Perth when I suddenly remembered them. I immediately called the restaurant, and one of the staff members literally ran all the way over and brought my sunglasses to the boat before it left. I was honestly so touched and grateful. ❤️ It’s not just the delicious food that made my day — it was the kindness, thoughtfulness and incredible service that truly touched my heart. Thank you so much! What a beautiful experience. 🙏❤️
Didn't have high expections on food since it's at a touristy place. But its turned out to be very satisfying! Especially the sauce of the Bruschetta was so good with a nice spicy kick. The broccoli salad was good too. We saw many quokkas while dining.
I will give all 5 star for Frankie’s on Rotto. You don’t typically expect this level of food and service in any hotspot like Rotto. Honestly the food and service well above majority restaurants in city. No exaggeration. We stayed overnight on the island and had 3 meals here. One of the best pizzas I ever had. The other one I would nominate 8 Knots Tavern.
The pizza and pasta here are very good, I dare say better than some restaurants in the mainland as well, much to my surprise. It is also not super expensive either, quite reasonably priced. We ordered a Rottonesca pizza because I wanted anchovies, linguine pescatore and creamy garlic and sausage gnocchi as the pastas. Both the pastas were good, although not perfect. The taste of the pizza trumps them both. Regards @fooderarri
We had such a great experience at Frankie’s on Rotto and it honestly became one of the most enjoyable stops during our time on Rottnest Island. The vibe of the place is super relaxed and matches perfectly with the island atmosphere. The food was really good, especially the pizzas they were fresh, full of flavour, and you can tell they’re made properly. Crispy base, quality toppings, and just overall very satisfying. If you’re going there, definitely try their pizza, it’s one of the highlights. The restaurant is also very family-friendly. One thing I really appreciated was that their restroom had a proper space for changing a baby’s nappy, which made things much easier for us. Small detail, but very important when you’re out with kids. On top of that, they even had storybooks for kids, which was such a thoughtful touch and kept the little ones entertained. And of course, being on Rottnest Island makes the whole experience even better. The island is absolutely beautiful, and you might even spot the famous little animals there the quokkas . They’re adorable and seeing them around just adds something special to the whole visit. Overall, it’s a place where you can enjoy good food, relax, and soak in the beauty of the island. Definitely worth stopping by, especially if you’re visiting Rottnest with family.
