There's sth fascinating about the Prohibition era. Even when alcohol was outlawed, ppl still found countless ways to enjoy a drink. I guess where there's a will, there's always a way. Inspired by that chapter of history, this bar recreates the atmosphere of a hidden speakeasy on certain nights, getting inside isn't as simple as opening the door, you need the correct password before you're welcomed in, making the experience begin long before the first cocktail is served. From the moment we stepped inside, it felt as though we had traveled back in time. The vintage décor, the soft candlelight, and the carefully crafted details all came together to create an atmosphere full of mystery and character. We gathered around the table, reading the menu by candlelight while watching the bartender skillfully mix each drink behind the bar. Every cocktail had its own bold personality, making the experience feel even more immersive. One of the most memorable surprises was the hidden dance floor. It required discovering a special way in, just like uncovering one of the bar's many hidden stories. It was such a clever touch that made exploring the venue just as enjoyable as enjoying the drinks themselves. What I loved most wasn't just the cocktails, but how every corner of the place invited curiosity. It wasn't simply a bar; it felt like an interactive story where every detail encouraged you to look a little closer and discover something new. Some places serve drinks, others serve an experience. Yesterday, Fred’s great vibe caught my attention first(He’s seriously so charming! ). But I quickly noticed that every bartender here has their own cool style. I checked out some other bars today, but my gut told me I belonged here, so I came right back! Thank you so much, Monty, Dalyam, and Fred. (I hope I didn't get your names wrong though... I think I'm a little tipsy!) You guys and this place made my final two nights in Perth unforgettable! I’ll be following your Instagram, and the moment a new cocktail menu drops, you can bet I’ll be back! Btw, thanks Monty for helping me look for my earphones! When I got back to the hotel, I realized they were in my jacket pocket the whole time. 😂 It was so great chatting with you guys today. See you! 🥂
Absolutely amazing night with some of the best cocktails i’ve had in perth. Wanted to give a shout out to Dalyan who made me an amazing cocktail from Angostura bitters, which was my favourite of the night. I’d highly recommend coming here and trying the cocktails, or even their unique rum selection from around the world. A beautiful bar, beautiful cocktails and a beautiful atmosphere. What more could you ask for?
Decided to check out their Monday half-price rum selection, and ended up having a wonderful time with a selection of drinks expertly chosen by Mariano the barman (especially for my partner; he was impressed by all four rums selected for him). Mariano was also a delightful conversationalist, and made us feel so welcome. We definitely see ourselves coming back at some point in the future.
