Little vibrant place by the beach that was Scarborough needed . We had such great experience there from service to the dishes , what was delicious The only problem the venue is not cater for big groups
Great little place with Ocean Views. A decent breakfast menu with a lot of variety. Food was really well prepared. I had the mushrooms with poached eggs, feta and balsamic on sourdough as a lunch. Very generous portions. The eggs were poached to perfection and if you are a mushroom fan there was a good serving of field mushrooms lightly sauteed so when they arrived at your table they were not overcooked. Coffee was very good too and the barista certainly knows his beans ! Check out the latte art bear on my wife's cappuccino. Price wise, was few more $$ than you would probably pay at a popular franchise cafe in a shopping centre but you don't get the ocean view ! So well worth it I think. We checked out this cafe ahead of planned 4 day break in a local hotel. We will definitely be returning for breakfast :-).
Absolutely loved coming here! The food was such good quality and the owner and the rest of the staff were lovely. My friend and I are pretty strict with how we like our tiramisu, and were hesitant to try it. The owner encouraged us and it exceeded our expectations. We didn’t think it would be 3 for 3 for appetiser, main and dessert but Little Wave definitely is. Definitely going to come back soon!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful dining experience. We started with the Fritto Misto (snapper, prawns, and octopus), perfect for sharing. Everything was delicious, but the octopus really stood out — incredibly tender, soft, and full of flavor. The prawns were fresh, juicy, and cooked beautifully. For mains, we chose the linguine with chili prawns, scallops, ’nduja, and tomato. The portions were generous, and the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. Rich, juicy, and well-balanced, with just the right amount of heat. We shared all the dishes, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The handmade gnocchi with ragù were exceptional — soft, pillowy, and full of depth. Truly hard to find gnocchi done this well. The salmon was also excellent, well-prepared and very flavorful. The total came to around $270 for four people, including six beers and two Proseccos. The price reflects the drinks; with lighter drinking, the overall cost would be very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. To top it off, we enjoyed dessert, which was a perfect ending to the meal. The location is fantastic, almost waterfront, with beautiful sunset views directly from inside the restaurant. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and very pleasant. A place we’d happily return to and highly recommend.
Such a great Scarborough local, actually surprised I haven’t done a review with how often we come down to this coastal wine bar with amazing food. The food and wine are always rotating on the menu and always delicious. A fantastic wine by the glass menu with strong WA, Australia and European representation to cater to any taste, menu choice and event. The owner is a Scarborough local and the feeling of the place is very much one where people run in to friends, meet new people and generally welcoming in the best way that Scarborough can. At the quiet end of Scarborough, it’s the best place to enjoy a wine, a delicious bite and hang with friends or meet new ones.
