City Beach

Best beach in Perth, until you have babies/ small kids - then not very safe for them to experience the water. If you have small kids go to Cottesloe or Leighton or Trigg or Hillaries. Otherwise City Beach is perfect to loll away a sunny day (under an umbrella) with cafe/resto’s nearby. The sauna-to-water experience right there too. Bbqs and toilets/changerooms available and lots of lovely grassed areas with shade and a couple playgrounds too. Floreat and Floreat cafe and Vball courts walking distance along the wooden boardwalk, highly recommend, lovely way to see the beach with a view. Heaps of parking.
Lovely clean beach, close to the city. Beautiful sunsets and decent shore break for body surfing.
It’s an awesome place for swimming, relaxing, or simply watching the horizon. A perfect escape for anyone looking for natural beauty and quiet time by the ocean. Best place for watching sunset.

As the sun sets, the beach transforms into a magical spot with golden skies reflecting off the ocean, making it one of Perth’s most picturesque sunset locations.
