The hotel has a nice and cozy vibe. Room is spacious, fully equipped kitchen is useful for family. They also provide free self-service washing machine and dryer for guests. This was our second time staying in Tradewinds and we will definitely stay at this hotel if we ever visit Fremantle again.
Had an amazing family staycation here! Great value package included breakfast and late check out as well as a kids dinner with each main ordered. Food was fantastic aswell. From check in desk to restaurant service I can't fault anything, I highly recommend anyone to stay here.
Front desk staff were friendly. The rooms were terrific with everything you need available. Comfortable king bed. The outdoor area around the pool and on the 2nd level are amazing with great views and lovely comfortable lounges and daybeds. Free parking outside is great. We had dinner in the restaurant but the female waitresses (foreign) were slow and not very attentive. We had to go and get our own drinks after waiting for a long time and they were just left on the bar. We don’t know where the waitresses got to because it wasn’t busy! We ordered the prawn and tagliatelle pasta and it was terrible. Gluggy and not very tasty. Overcooked pasta!
Came here for a light bite on a Monday. The food was delicious and well presented, location/view is great. Lost a star as it took ages for my drink to come (had to ask for it when my food came even though I ordered it first). Wait staff very scarce, had to go ask a chef twice for assistance/to locate a staff. I get it was quiet but at least look after the 3 tables you have in the venue.
The fish & chips was nice & tasty, just a little on the oily side for me. It was a decent size serve with 2 pieces of fish & a fair amount of salad. My hot choc was only luke warm, but staff were more than happy to top it up with hot milk when requested. Unsure how to rate my dessert as I'm unfamiliar with it. I had the Almond one with rhubarb. It had a bland cream type paste & the base was rock hard. I had to keep stabbing it with my spoon to try get it to break! The tiny dob of rhubarb was yummy. It required lots more in my opinion. The almonds spread around the edge was a nice addition.
