⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing experience. The duck was incredibly tender and juicy, the octopus perfectly cooked and full of flavour, and the broccoli was absolutely delicious! fresh, perfectly seasoned and surprisingly addictive! Great wine selection too. The staff were exceptionally attentive and thoughtful. Highly recommend!
I Reached My Tipping Point My wife and I arrived in Subiaco very early for a medical appointment and decided to make the most of the time by having an early dinner. Across the road, we spotted Intuition Wine & Kitchen, and we were immediately drawn in by its warm and welcoming appearance. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted warmly by one of the staff and seated by an old fireplace. Within seconds of sitting down, the smooth, funky vibe of the place just washed over us. You could feel it straight away. My wife and I are pretty capable home gourmet cooks, so we can be fairly critical when we dine out. Not snobby, just hopeful. We love good food and good service, but unfortunately, we’ve had our fair share of disappointing experiences. Intuition Wine & Kitchen, however, delivered on three major fronts: cuisine, service, and atmosphere. As we had an appointment to get to, we asked whether our food could come out fairly quickly. Since we didn’t have a lot of time up our sleeve, we decided to share a selection of entrées. I noticed some of the dishes came with three pieces, but the waiter thoughtfully bumped them up to four so there would be no arguments at the table over who got the last one. That small touch said a lot. The cuisine is predominantly French, with a beautiful Mediterranean blend of Italian and Greek influences. Every dish was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. The chef’s style is bold, confident, and extremely refined. I still can’t quite get over the fact that we have food of this calibre right here in Subiaco. We’ll definitely be returning for the truffle-themed degustation menu at the next opportunity. The table service was up there with some of the best restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of dining at. The staff appeared professionally trained, genuinely enjoyed what they were doing, and did it very, very well. And ladies, as they say, the fellas are easy on the eye too. The atmosphere completely draws you in. It is something you really need to experience for yourself. This is the type of venue that suits anniversaries, special get-togethers, or even better, no reason at all. I’d suggest group sizes of two to eight would work comfortably while still keeping that intimate feel. I’m not renowned for tipping at restaurants, as I believe a tip needs to be earned. Well, I definitely reached my tipping point here. I walked away feeling I had received great value, even after paying the bill with the tip included. Intuition Wine & Kitchen is a gem of a restaurant and has now earned a place in my top three in Perth.
Wonderful French bistro in the hearth of Subiaco. Service was attentive by experienced maître d, sommelier and waiter. The food was absolutely delicious. The menu caters for everyone vegetarians, fish lovers and carnivores, which is rare for a French restaurant. Very nice intimate ambiance. What at great addition to Perth’s restaurant scene! The raspberry choux for desert is not to be missed! A highlight!
Perfect date night! On the night of ‘the storm of the year’ Intuition was fully booked and buzzing. The wine and food menues were strong- many choices to suit diners preferences. The ambience was refined. Mood lighting, yet we could read the menu and wine list without squinting! Noise levels were well managed with ceiling noise reduction panels. And the food… Every course we had (and there were 5) were flavour bombs!!! We dine out at French restaurants regularly and Intuition is my new star! Professional, friendly service, enjoy my pics. Every course was perfection. Fabulous addition to Subiaco’s restaurant scene. Love.
Attended an invite only Woodlands dinner here to celebrate the launch of the new release of their Margaret Cab Sav. Never been before but the food and service was excellent. One of the best meals I have had in Subiaco. I have estimated how much the meal was as it was bundled with free flow top quality wines.
