I dont normally write reviews however this bar was fantastic. I came with a group of 5 lads, immediately walking through the door the vibe was so friendly and chill, we were greeted by the owner who is extremely welcoming and respectful and we had so many kind chats with him and the staff it felt great! Jarrad in particular was a star, helped us SO much and everyone at the table adored his presence. Not only was the service exemplary, the menu was also fantastic, the food and drinks were fresh and delicious (especially the bread its so good omg), each drink making us more eager to try the next. I highly encourage anyone to try this quaint establishment it was such a good time!!
Unfortunately, our recent visit to Terrarium was a little underwhelming. The service was noticeably slow, with only two staff members managing the bar, and there appeared to be a disconnect in priorities. One staff member was conducting a mid-evening tasting experience in the middle of the room while other team members were clearly stretched, leaving patrons waiting quite a while for drinks. When our cocktail finally arrived, it was disappointing. The glass contained a significant amount of ice, leaving very little actual cocktail, and it didn’t deliver the quality or experience I was expecting. Overall, there weren’t any standout positives from this visit. We finished our drink and decided to move on. Hopefully, with better service flow and attention to the guest experience, future visits may offer a more enjoyable experience.
Rooftop bar with an amazing creative cocktail menu. We sat outside next to the toasty heaters that kept the cold away. Our waiter was attentive and recommended cocktails to us that suited our taste. I’ve been multiple times and it just keeps getting better!
Xander is an amazing owner and venue manager. If you need a hug this is the cocktail bar for you. In all my nearly 70 years this is the first bar that gave me a hug on entry. Maybe that's because I arrived with my daughter and Xander and she know each other. But this is a delightful venue with wonderful outdoor courtyard and a delightful interior ambience. The menu has a delicious range of dishes and tasting plates to share. If course the wine, beer, spirits and cocktail selection is first rate. Thoroughly recommend you find and visit this secluded gem.
