Without a doubt, one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had — not just in Perth, but anywhere in the world. The set menu was absolutely incredible. Every course felt carefully thought out, with incredible flavours, textures and presentation. What really stood out was how each dish worked together to create a complete experience rather than simply being a collection of individual courses. The food and wine pairing was exceptional. Every wine complemented the dishes perfectly and genuinely took us on a journey throughout the meal. It felt like we were experiencing Peru through food, wine and hospitality without ever leaving Perth. The service was another standout. Every member of the team was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive and genuinely passionate about what they were serving. The level of service was honestly some of the best we have experienced at any restaurant anywhere in the world. From start to finish, everything was exceptional — the food, the wine, the service, the atmosphere and the entire experience. Elite! An absolute must if you’re looking for a truly memorable dining experience in Perth. We will definitely be back.
A beautiful restaurant run by an amazing manager. I’ve been trying to come experience this place after high praises from my partner, but for my last five trips fates did not collide as I was around on the days the restaurant was unfortunately closed. I finally got the opportunity to this time and it was absolutely worth the wait. Just wanted to say thank you to Louise and her lovely team for the most amazing experience. I trusted her with the set menu completely, and she was absolutely right in every aspect. Wine pairings brought were beautifully complex and went with the dishes magnificently. As a solo diner I felt extremely comfortable and welcome, and I cannot sing the praises of this restaurant more. The dishes were remarkable, exciting, well balanced, and so generous in portion for a degustation menu. Above all, what sets it apart from other restaurants is the hospitality and genuine warmth from Louise, who is truly a gem and an asset to the restaurant group. Thank you for a stunning experience. I look forward to my next visit :)
As Latinos, we had high expectations. The customer service was absolutely great. ⭐️ The cassava chips were 10/10crispy and delicious. Unfortunately, the picanha was 2/10. It was very chewy, with too much connective tissue, making it feel like chewing gum. It was definitely not worth the $99. The roasted chicken was the winner 10/10. It was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The empanadas were also amazing. The coconut dessert was good, but as a pastry chef, I expected it to be creamier. The coconut texture felt a bit grainy, so it wasn’t as smooth as I had hoped. Overall, the friendly service and some excellent dishes made for a good experience, but the picanha was disappointing.
Hands down one of the most spectacular dining experiences in the Perth CBD! The restaurant design is beautiful, the food plating is stunning, and the menu offers an absolutely fresh, diverse selection alongside outstanding chef specials. The seafood is a total must-have. We tried the salmon, scallops, and mussels, finishing off with the lamb and beef ribs—honestly, each dish was better than the last. They also have a very respectable wine list and a great drinks selection. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it to everyone!
I went to celebrate Valentine’s Day on Monday, after the official date, as I believe many other people did. This was our second time at Uma, and I chose it because our first experience was truly amazing. However, this time I felt a bit disappointed, as more than four dishes we ordered were unavailable. Considering Valentine’s Day fell on a Saturday and many people couldn’t celebrate on the exact date, I believe the restaurant could have been better prepared to receive customers in the following days. That said, the dishes we had were still delicious — the duck was tender and full of flavor, and the fish was also very good. Even so, ***I would like to sincerely thank Daniele, our waitress, and Louise*** for their kindness and attentive service. They were both lovely and professional, and thanks to them our dinner still ended on a positive note. Congratulations to you both for your great work, the way you handled everything truly made a difference. P.S. I didn’t take photos of all the dishes — we were very hungry when we arrived! 😅
