Lovley resort. The staff were so accommodating and kind to recommend many places to check around the island. Thank you to Vera and Kevin for giving us a warm welcome and having a good chat with us and showing us what places are good hidden gems on the island and what not to miss out on. And we got a lovely gift for our anniversary as well. A bottle of bubbles and a delicious fruit plate. Thank you so much for the hospitality especially for our first time in the Island! Unfortunately even though the service, staff, food, drinks and view was wonderful.. the two nights my partner and I stayed in our accommodation, neither of us fell asleep... Being on the edge shore is a great for views but not for noise when you're in a tent styled room... Especially when it's windy.. we were given earplugs but it unfortunately did nothing ... Probably the worst non sleep, sleep I've had in my life .. a solid brick building would've been much more better for an ocean front accomadation... Definitely recommend the inner tents away from the ocean if you want to get some sleep or book the nice tents on a day where the wind speed is under 20km/hr. If the noise from the tent wasn't so loud and insomniac inducing this would've been perfect! Thank you otherwise for having such kind and considerate staff though! Hopefully future renovation are in lieu 😅.

Discovery Rottnest A place that surprises, captivates, and stays in your heart. A simply stunning glamping experience, set in a location that calling it ideal almost feels like an understatement: two breathtaking beaches, with powder-soft white sand and crystal-clear water right in front of you. The location is perfect — close enough to the island’s central area to be convenient, yet at the same time immersed in an authentic and rare sense of tranquility. The tents (we stayed in an ocean view) are spacious, well designed, and perfectly aligned with the spirit of the island: an authentic experience without giving up any comfort. Fully equipped bathroom, walk-in wardrobe, private patio, and impeccable amenities… everything thoughtfully considered and intelligently designed. Daily housekeeping is precise and consistent, and the staff are extremely kind, helpful, and welcoming — with that uniquely Australian warmth that truly makes a difference. An experience that goes beyond expectations. A place that truly deserves it.

Absolutely stunning location. Close to the beach, gold course and easy access to all the cycle paths including onto town and the jetty. Literally a 5 min walk from the ferry. We celebrated my son's birthday here and the staff sung happy birthday to him and worked with me to organize a birthday cake. Staff are great. Never used the pool as the sea looked too tempting. Food in the restaurant is variable, evening meal was really good, but breakfast is buffet so if you like it hot you need to be there when it opens. We would return.

Spent a few days in Tent 1 which has to be the best one in the resort. The view was great, the tent was clean and very well equipped, the bed was huge and comfortable and the staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. The beaches and site were spotless and everything went totally silent after 10pm. We ate at Pinkies a couple of times (and for breakfast each morning) and the food and wine were very reasonably priced - the BBQ was outstanding, ribs that melted in your mouth and a swordfish brochette that was perfectly cooked. Overall a faultless experience with special thanks to the Quokkas who were the icing on the cake!

I went with my 2 teenage daughters for 2 nights and stayed in a premium family tent. So glad we paid extra it was terrific! Only wish we could have stayed longer. Just like a motel room except with the tent walls/roof. There was even a microwave and little fridge. There wasn’t as much noise in our area - no sewerage noise or bar noise like other reviews suggest. The pool is busy and so is the breakfast area which is small, noisy and warm. I also noted the bar by the pool one afternoon didn’t stay open for long and you needed to walk to the restaurant and bring your drinks back to the pool. Overall though we loved it and will definitely aim to return each January - hopefully in the same wonderful tent! Staff were lovely too. BTW for bikes I would definitely hire through your ferry if you can. The main bike place to hire on Rotto was so busy and noisy it is very overwhelming for anyone with ADHD/ASD. Have fun!!
