Hands down the best satay I’ve ever had in Australia. Super fresh , great flavour , decent quality meat. Wish I had taken more photos and that I lived in Perth :)
Best satay I’ve had outside Southeast Asia (perhaps even better than some Singaporean stalls). The meat was juicy & soft with a smoky flavourful seasoning. Sauce was top notch. All the side dishes (rice cakes, fresh red onion, cucumber) added to the authentic experience as well. Thank you for a piece of home away from home.
Satay's the best..Yummy!! Fremantle's got the best, all the time! Highly recommended here 😍💕
Was not planning to eat anything but where I saw proper satay had to have some. Without doubt the best satay I have had in Australia. Yes service is a bit slow but freshly cooked in front of you. Amazing will be back!
But let's be honest: the satay is the vehicle, and the satay sauce is the destination. This is where culinary alchemy happens. A legendary sauce is a complex, velvety universe in a bowl. The nutty, creamy backbone of roasted peanuts is harmonised with the tang of tamarind, the sweetness of palm sugar, the heat of chilli, and the aromatic depth of lemongrass and galangal. It should be rich but not cloying, spicy but not aggressive, sweet but not saccharine. It’s a sauce that demands you to dredge, dip, and drizzle it over every available bite—and then some. A great satay sauce doesn't just accompany the meal; it completes it.
