Flew over from Melbourne for a few days and stayed at the Ocean View Motel. Honestly, really glad we chose this spot. The location is fantastic, right near the water and very easy to get around from there. The room was spotless and the bed was actually super comfortable, which is exactly what you want after a long flight. It looks like they’ve got a great management team running things now because everything from the tidy grounds to the easy check-in process was just seamless. It's a solid, reliable place to stay and really good value for the area. We had a quiet, relaxing stay and will definitely keep it on our list for our next trip out West.
I booked this hotel for the location and that was perfect. I did not stay the night. My room was no 5 right next to an unstaffed reception and the key lock boxes for guests. It was a very busy spot. My main concern was the security of the locking system on the door. My door knob was loose and there was no chain or deadbolt. Not conducive to a good nights sleep. I left and chose other accommodation. The staff agreed with me about the insecurity of the door. Avoid no 5.
Exceptional service from management and team from late arrival through to end of 3 week stay, very obliging and accommodating. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the view is absolutely stunning, enjoying sunset drinks from the balcony and a 1 minute stroll down to the expansive esplanade. Thankyou for a wonderful stay, will not hesitate to stay here again 😊
