Often eat here in the restaurant. Every meal has been delicious! They do run out of duck spring rolls on occasion, as they are so popular, that is the only downer! It was our wedding venue, about 28 years ago, so always good memories when we go😊
My partner and I had lunch on a Tuesday here. We ordered the pork ribs and chicken wings. The pork ribs fell off the bone, no membrane was left on. The sauce wasn’t very sweet but I guess that means less sugar right?! Would definitely order them again. The chicken wings were described on the menu as crispy, however, because the sauce was drizzled all over them. They had lost most of their crispiness by the time we got them. My suggestion would be that they have the sauce in a tiny tub next to the chicken wings? But the flavour was delicious.
Stayed here for a night last week. Such a cool venue, rooms were huge and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Loved the mid century decor!! Staff were enthusiastically happy to help wherever they could. Check in and out was super simple too! I’d definitely recommend this venue from its accomodation, to entertainment, comfort, fire and the food is beautiful!! Thanks guys :)
WOW! I could not have asked for a better two night stay at the incredibly beautiful Mahogany inn, from checking in, to our many many bothersome requests that were met with a smile amd accomplished without concern or complaint! It truley made our wedding celebrating so simple. From room cleaning between our two night stay for the weddding night. Putting our personalised wine in our friends/family rooms before they arrived, to dressing up our suite with rose petals and pillow cases supplied by my sneaky mother - they went above and beyond in any and every aspect. I have truly never felt so valued staying anywhere else. The rooms were all stunning (family and friends were scattered throughout) the most beautiful backdrop for all our getting ready photos! The food!! Oh my gosh, our room service the night before was supurb. Salads with so much flavour, pork belly that you could not stop eating, then a gin tasting board that just topped the stay off! I do not have a single complaint! Which is so so rare in the hospitality/accomodation world - but seriously this place is fantastic. Danielle and her partner have done a fantastic job with this place!
Celebrated my wife's birthday here. We had the Crab Meat Bruschetta to start. It's a different variety of bruschetta that we've never tried before. It was tasty but maybe a little messy to eat. For our mains we each had the Grilled Salmon, this has to be the best Grilled Salmon presentation that we've ever had. The fish was grilled to perfection and the accompanied sweet potato mash had a devine tangy taste. The roast potatoes was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. We finished our lunch with the Apple and Rhubarb Crumble for desert. All up it was a very pleasant lunch with good service.
