Just stayed here and overall loved it. The room in the original old building was very well setup and although smallish worked well. Kids playing in the courtyard at 7.30 was not great as it echoes in there a bit. Service was A+ throughout the whole venue we both mentioned how attentive and friendly all of the staff were. Breakfast was excellent, loved the poached eggs and baked sausage! Dinner 2 nights was great, a bit dear but that is to be expected in a place of this type, steak was outstanding! Overall a very good stay and a place I would happily recommend to others.
We stayed in a lake view room for two nights. The room was clean, bed comfy and well stocked with tea water and coffee. Don’t bother paying extra for the breakfast. It’s not worth it plus we were asked a few times if we had always paid even though we were wearing the stupid festival style wrist bands they give you. We had pre paid but ended up at The Lane for breakfast on the last day- breakfast didn’t even include one barista made coffee, only coffee from an urn. We also had reserved a table for dinner on the first night and that booking was lost? So I’d give Sunsets a miss. Unless you are just getting a drink. Good spot for that but the menu is limited, and it’s overpriced.
We recently stayed at the Lodge and had a wonderful experience. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating throughout our stay. We especially loved our family room overlooking the pool, and the family package made the whole trip feel easy, relaxing and wholesome for us. Our only feedback would be around the interconnecting room door handle, which was positioned quite low. Our 1.5-year-old was able to open the door a few times and attempted to wander out, which felt a little unsafe for families with toddlers, especially as both doors needed to remain open to utilise the interconnecting setup. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would happily return again.
We had a wonderful stay at Wadjemup Lodge. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained like exactly what we were hoping for. What truly made our experience unforgettable, though, was the incredible front desk team. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with refreshing lemonade, which was such a thoughtful touch after the journey. The highlight of our stay was a lovely surprise waiting for us in our room, a handwritten card and chocolate to celebrate our anniversary. It was such a genuine and heartfelt gesture, and it meant more to us than words can express. It’s rare to come across hospitality that feels this personal and sincere. Thank you to the amazing team for making our special occasion even more memorable. We’ll definitely be back! 💛
WHAT, NO TOMATOES? We stayed at the Rottnest Lodge fir four relaxing nights in April. Our room overlooked the lovely courtyard although I wonder how noisy it would get in peak holiday times? The room, at 12 square meters, is very small with no desk, drawers or any chairs. Also there is no air conditioning which in late April. Is quite okay, but it Peak summer it would be very hot. The restaurant was lovely as was the daily breakfast, although it would have been nice to have some grilled tomatoes to complement the scrambled eggs. The staff were lovely. Professional and helpful. Overall, we really enjoyed the Rottnest vibe that is very relaxed and casual. Is is good value for the $300 ++ per night price? Mmmmm.
