This is rather a hostel than a hotel. Located on the top of a pub. It is laud up to well after 11 pm. There is almost no room service and you have to chase domeone in the pub below if you need something. There are 3 male showets and 2 toilets for 11 rooms and they were located ca. 15 meter frommy room. Location is fine but I would Certainly will not book again with this establishment, paying exoebsive hotel price and receiving hostel service. The worst thing is that you have to take your key EVERYTIME yoi leaving your room as the doors are not fit for purpose. If you are unlucky and forget your key after midnight bathroom visit and your telephone is also in room you are likely to stay in the corridor until next morning. Look elsewhere if you don't want to get annoyed all the times. The room was spacious but very noisy from thempub, neighbours and floorboards noise. The only enjoyable thing I found was the nice corridor that is old and the shower.
Staying locally in an Air B&B. Popped in for dinner as it was very close. Wow! What a great place. I can’t call it a pub as it’s more than that. The food was superb. Wife had the Tuna, amazing quality. I had the special Gumbo; fantastic flavours. The place was busy with people from all age groups. Definitely a favourite for the locals. Enjoyed a few craft beers; loved the Single Fin Summer Ale. Quality food and great staff. Highly recommend
Booked for Sunday lunch in the restaurant (6 adults and one child). Great location and the pub blended in with the rest of the street. Bar staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Food menu catered for all tastes as well as a good choice of Gluten Free options. All the adults chose something different, and all the plates were completely empty at the end. Food came out quickly and the wait staff were very friendly. Will being going back again soon.
Fantastic pub in South Fremantle. Great service everytime. On Saturday we had the Lamb Rump share meal for two. It was absolutely delicious Lamb was melt in the mouth tender, the other parts of the dish, brocolini, coleslaw, pickles, roast potatoes, croquettes all fresh and tasty. Paired with a couple of bottles of South West Chardonnay which was also delicious. Made for a fantastic meal and enjoyed our afternoon/evening watching the AFL football. No sound on TV which was ok (I listened to radio on my phone) because the ambience in the bar with music is great. Not everyone is die hard AFL fan like me. Still have nice big TV screens. We have stopped here a few afternoons /evenings for drinks always good.
We needed a room for a night and the Local Hotel popped up. I'm glad it did. All the staff have been welcoming with a smile. The location is excellent and the room clean spacious and tidy. I'll admit the shared bathroom is a little inconvenient but the lower price reflects that. Very comfortable bed as well. I'll be back even if it's only to enjoy a beer in the bar.
