First time being here and I have to say that I am happy overall with the place. We stayed here for 3 nights and it was less than $500 for that. We ate twice at the restaurant and we cannot fault the food or the service. Staff are also amazing. Be careful getting out of the shower as the floors are very slippery when there is water on them
Stayed for 5 nights. Overall Verdict: If you are strictly looking for an affordable, well-located place to sleep on a budget and only care about a comfortable bed, this hotel fits the bill. However, if you expect thorough cleanliness, active maintenance, and proper daily housekeeping, you may want to look elsewhere. It is a decent budget stopover, but definitely has room for improvement. Pros: -The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the bedding was perfectly clean. -The pricing is highly affordable and budget-friendly. -A very handy and strategic spot on Canning Highway. -Free parking available on site. Cons: Room Maintenance Issues: Our first room (Room 43) had a strong damp carpet smell, a cracking bathtub, and outdated walls. We changed to Room 13, which was in better condition, but the shower floor leaked water directly out into the hallway. The rooms are quite dusty; there was a visible coat of dust on all tables and the phone. Disappointing Housekeeping. Room cleaning was minimal. They only changed the towels and made the bed, but the floors were never mopped or vacuumed; and for two days, our rubbish wasn't even cleared.
Lovely staff, but a few issues with the rooms. We booked the superior king room, our first room had an issue with the toilet and staff were so accommodating with switching us over to another room straight away :) Yet the other room had strange stains on the carpet/couch, and the air conditioner seemed broken, was running way too loud to the point we couldn’t use it despite it being freezing cold in Perth!! Good shower pressure but the shower head is way too low, as well as the room cards being a bit dodgy and not working consistently, also the fridge temperature seems to be way too low and was freezing our food, luckily I didn’t have any medication stored in there like I normally would. It was a lovely view though and having the smart TV was great. Another note is that the refund of security deposit is really long compared to all other places I’ve ever stayed at
Great hotel with city views! Clean rooms and beautiful food. We were traveling for a funeral and the weekend staff were absolutely fantastic. They made our trip just that much better. Thanks so much for your hospitality and we will definitely come back.
We have recently stayed at the Metro hotel and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We had a room with a balcony which gave us fantastic views over Perth. Our room was spacious with everything we needed. Housekeeping service done each day. We loved all of the meals we had during our stay, and loved the Happy hour at the hotel bar! All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Easy access by car, bus, Uber into the city. We would definitely stay here again 😊
