Really delicious meal in a gorgeous dimly lit setting. I was sceptical about this place but quite pleasantly surprised. The staff were efficient and friendly. The food all tasted great and so were the cocktails. Our only qualm was with the dumplings which were quite expensive considering we only got 2 small pieces and they were not worth the cost. Everything else left us feeling satisfied.
Tonic + Ginger has easily become mine and my partner’s favourite restaurant in Perth. We were completely blown away from the moment the food arrived. Every dish was packed with flavour and felt so unique. The Bang Bang Cauliflower was absolutely insane and an absolute must-order. It was one of those dishes we’ll be talking about for a long time! Everything we ordered was delicious, beautifully presented, and unlike anything we’ve had elsewhere. The atmosphere and service were also great! We honestly can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend! 🙌
My first time here. We came Saturday at an odd hour. We still got exceptional food and service. The standout is the cauliflower. Kingfish sashimi memorable. The steak on the bone main was amazing - something different. Wok greens were so good. The ambiance in the synagogue with the bubble lights is so beautiful. I'd really recommend you go by and have a great meal. Thanks for the experience. I'll come again.
Tonic and Ginger is such a beautiful restaurant, we really enjoyed sitting in the balcony. Great service & atmosphere, but the food didn’t live up to expectations. The wontons and dumplings were delicious. The Kingfish sashimi was melt in your mouth and so tasty. Unfortunately the Fire Cracker Cauliflower was a bit overcooked so it was a bit too soft, the flavour was great though. The main dish of the barramundi green curry was disappointing due to the sugar added. The fish was delicate and delicious but the sauce was sweet, not what you expect from a green curry. The scallops were a bit sweet too which was odd and the pear over powered the beef in the beef tartare. We had a great bottle of wine, Blind Corner Pinot Grigio, highly recommend and my desert cocktail was really good.
We made a reservation for an outside table, and after some minutes waiting, someone recognised that we are still sitting there without any drinks 😂😉🤔😁 not a problem... At all. We ordered several dishes to share, and what should I say?! They were all soooooo delicious. The scallops, yummy. Dim sum sauce delicious, and that was every course. The chicken, amazing. And the meat of the curry, incredible soft. We really enjoyed our dinner and will definitely come back! Thanks
